@chrisfix love this. Seriously playing to my OCD tendencies. You keep mentioning "look at how much dirt we got out". If you do that same cleaning after you have done your first cleaning, what does the extractor vac tank look like? Sorry OCD scientist here. When do you reach that"as good as you are going to get" point? Thanks again. Love this video.

Great video, but I wouldn't touch the seat belts simply because you don't know what the cleaners will do to the engineered strength of the belt. I'm fairly sure you could just spray it with distilled water and wipe it clean that way, but I wouldn't use any chemicals, heat or abrasion.

Really Chrisfix? Last 3 videos don’t look like you. I have followed since the beginning and this is no why you got started, your main goal was to help people to fix their cars and save money. This seems to me to come to my channel and buy my sponsors products. I miss your old real videos fixing problems that really teach and help people with old cars.

I never thought that car seats had to be torqued down to a certain spec. How many ft-pounds are we talking about?

  27. CM Rosary

    CM Rosary3 hours ago

@Regdu Geht Negative is just a ground. If you disconnect the positive terminal, you lose the settings you may have programmed into the infotainment center, seat settings, etc. Without the ground, those components won't _function,_ but the settings will still be saved. Oh, by the way, I looked it up: seat bolts are usually torqued to around 38 NM or 28 ft. lbs. :)

my only critiques of the super cleaning process so far, in the spirit of attention to detail: 1) when cleaning the windows, you didn't show cleaning any of the weather stripping. so while the glass was clean, it was rubbing up against, and being recessed into, dirty weather strips 2) when cleaning the seats, you didn't show reclining the seats to get between the bottom and the seatback you probably did these, but not seeing them leaves room to second guess. other than that everything is mind-blowingly thorough👍

Chris...There is thousands of videos on super cleaning and 99.9% of us dont enter our cars into a car show and after a full super clean with hours of effort, the car will be super dirty 2 weeks later (depending on the driver and how many parks you visit or how many dogs you own). All of these videos on how to vacuum your car or shampoo the rug is ridiculous... Maybe you could teach your viewers about regularly vacuuming for about 5 minutes each week and wiping your dash down for 20 seconds. Realistically speaking you know.
